I would not get too excited Bert...

First, 2009 really sucked. Revenues were down significantly. I posted a story about this recently, with stats comparing 2009 and 2010 to 2006, when broadcast revenues peaked.

It is relatively easy to show strong gains after a really bad year; it is more informative to compare to the years just before the big dip.

And this is a political year, when broadcast revenues typically peak. With primaries and other political activities this year, we have already seen quite of bit of political advertising, even in the 2nd calendar quarter. Or to be more correct, I saw significant political advertising here in Florida during the second quarter.
