Good deal. Like last time around, 2013 I think it was, that Comcast got caught
throttling Netflix, what forces the issue becomes egregious misbehavior by the
overly greedy party. They can't help themselves, even during critical times.
Quibbling about their reasons, or even whether net neutrality is strictly
involved, only sounds too lame.
The utterly clueless Chairman of this FCC should wake up and ask himself just
what kind of silly shenigans the telcos would have played, back in the 1980s
and 1990s, if they didn't have Title II to worry about, on the dial-up phone
lines that were instrumental in deploying Internet service. Instead of
repeating his lies about "unregulated from it inception," or whatever words he
uses.
Now let's he if he tries to block these various state initiatives, with the
excuse that the FCC has to take precedence, "because it's a matter of
interstate commerce." I wouldn't put it past him, using completely
self-contradictory logic like that. The only question being, does he even get
that his logic is nonsense, or just how lost is he?
