Bob;

There's not a snowball's chance in hell that the FSTV analog shut off date
will be extended; there isn't any time, and this Congress hasn't even issued
ONE spending bill (of 13) for the current fiscal year, which began 45 days
ago.

The money in the till from the January auction won't be enough for them.

You're cynical about this, but the deadline has been set. I'd be interested
in knowing why you think the gov'ment did bait and switch before the hard
transition deadline was set.

John

I doubt that they will delay the transition before this January's
auction. They want to get the money in the till before they screw the
bidders just like they did with auctions 44 and 49. Sell the spectrum
and then delay the winners access. Bait and switch is OK when the
government does it.
