NONE of the comments in question were relevant to the proceeding. Instead of
investigating where all this crap came from, or how the Internet can so easily
be corrupted to produce millions of useless comments, why not just pay
attention to comments that actually addressed issues raised in the NPRM?

Why should the FCC invest time is something that is irrelevant? I’m sure
someone on the Deep State could help Rosenworcel and Attorney General
Schneiderman find out who is using the Dark Net to spam the FCC.
Oh wait. They only want to investigate who spammed the FCC in support of the
NPRM...
Yes indeed. This happens because, for some inexplicable reason, the Chairman
thinks he can ramrod his strange idea through, the hell with what the country
wants. Asking for public comment was a big who cares formality, it seems.
The FCC has never asked for “public comments” per se. Comments are supposed to
address the issues in the NPRM and be filed by people willing to invest the
time to provide meaningful insights; people who are affected by the NPRM. The
FCC simply does not have the time to deal with millions of “popular votes.”
And NO BERT, the masses are not going to be impacted by this order in any
meaningful way. We are simply restoring some sanity to communications policy.
