Taxicabs and buses?

I always figured that a real problem with low VHF is that it needs a
long antenna. Even comared with FM radio. Not exactly easy for portable
appliances.

And with vehicles, you also don't have to worry as much about the
interference problem that low VHF is subjected to from domestic
electrical noise sources.
