The only caveat the article states is that "competitors could cry foul." They
can cry all they want, but they also have the neutral Internet available for
their use. It's not like Hulu, or anyone else, can credibly force their hand.
There is a tendency to assume that the FCC would object on the same grounds
they object now, e.g. national ownership caps for OTA broadcasters. That's why
Title II classification is so instrumental here. My bet is that the ONLY thing
the FCC will object to in the future is if congloms try to merge. The
neutrality of broadband service should have taken the wind out of any other
reason to object.
