IceFyre to Demonstrate Industry's Only 'Whole Home' WLAN-Enabled HDTV 
System At Wireless Japan 2004

TOKYO, Wireless Japan Booth # 1718, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- See 
demonstrations of wireless local area network (WLAN) chipsets that 
support next-generation WLAN-enabled multimedia products given by 
IceFyre(TM) Semiconductor, Inc. July 21 - 23, 2004, at the Wireless 
Japan 2004 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre. IceFyre's 
customers are currently incorporating these chipsets into consumer 
electronics, including SDTV and HDTV flat panel displays being 
readied for commercial release later in 2004.

The demonstrations include an I.Link(TM)-based High Definition TV 
(HDTV) network utilizing the SureFyre(TM) 802.11a mini-PCI reference 
design that is capable of distributing High Definition (HD) content 
over a range greater than 40 m, proving that cost-effective, 
single-point distribution of HDTV or multiple SDTV multimedia streams 
throughout the home is a reality today with IceFyre's innovative 
SureFyre 802.11a chipset.
