Does this sound to you like the current price delta of DTV sets is going to
stay where it is, after October 1, 2004, or do you see a hint that we are in
for further price reductions?

Do you think that these coming price reductions for HDTV sets will lead to
advancing or declining sales?

I was talking a few weeks back with a engineer of high rank at one of the
major U.S. TV networks (I have talked to many folks of similar ranks). He
told me that he thought the market would break late this year, or early next
year. I thought he might be just a bit optimistic, and this fellow is quire
realistic in so many other ways.

He was right. The tipping point is either here, or will happen in the next
three months. The price reductions just keep on coming, and the average set
sold gets larger. I wonder if it's that way in countries without OTA HDTV?
