 Yes.  And I must personnaly thank Craig Mundie whose budget that came out of.  
I mean that totally and sincerely as a credit to
Craig, Michelle Herman, Susan Klysa, Hank Vigil, Jim Kajiya, Alvy Ray Smith, 
Jim Blinn, and Steve Gabriel.  We did The Right Thing.
Howard Hughes would have condoned it.

If that paper was by any chance this one ( 
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/archive/convrg1.mspx ) then I thank you, as it 
formed the
basis for my own belief that capture, transmission, and display resolutions 
should best be 3 different sizes.  I've been linking
