Phoenix Moviebeam

The note is not new, but is very interesting:

Moviebeam was founded by Disney in 2002 to deliver movies to Set Top Boxes at homes. The service which was first of its kind was built using state of the art technology for efficiency and reliability. The service was offered in 33 major US markets, with capability to reach millions of homes and deliver movies from major Hollywood studios for convenience of in-home rental.
In January 2006, Movie Gallery, the second largest Video Retailer in the US, purchased Moviebeam and added the capability to deliver content using broadband internet access.
In May 2008, Valuable Group, a highly successful conglomerate media company, based in Mumbai India purchased Moviebeam, as it was a perfect strategic fit for its long term media/entertainment plans.
In its new strategic direction, Moviebeam service is intended to reach multiple vertical markets: US Hospitality, US Consumer Market, as well as other consumer markets in India, UK, and Africa.
With its highly secure and reliable system, Moviebeam is capable of providing the best of the Hollywood movies on its Set Top Box.
