With the cancelation of the 2021 NNRA National convention they are now looking
forward to 2022. This convention will be in St Louis and according to the
information in the email it will be from August 4 to 15, 2022. That makes it
an 11 day convention not sure if that is correct or if they are planning an
extended convention to make up for the two lost conventions. Just something to
keep in mind if you want to attend a national convention. As you may or may
not recall the 2022 NMRA Convention was going to be in England but that got
canceled because of the virus and that a sporting event had to be moved to that
location in the same time frame.
It will sure be nice when stuff gets back to normal. And just as a reminder if
you are looking for a train event to attend the 2021 Orange Blossom Special the
Pacific Southwest Region NMRA convention is still moving forward and will be
held in Irvine September 8 to 11, 2021. If you have not signed up and are
thinking of attending please sign up it will be a real shame if this convention
has to be canceled because of lack of attendance. That in part is what killed
the NMRA 2021 convention so do not let it happen to the Orange Blossom Special.
