Hi All OCMR Members
Our club has been invited to participate in the train show in GEHAMS
Bakersfield Model Train Show that will be held on March 6th and 7th 2021. Set
up will be on Friday, March 5th, so if you plan to attend this show you will
most likely need to stay over night on Friday and Saturday. We need to be out
of the hall by 9:00 pm on Sunday. We need to turn in our reservation in the
next week if we want to be considered for this show, so we need a count on the
number of modules for the layout. The show will provide parking passes and
enters passes for those who are setting up and operating the layout if you just
come up to shop you are on your own.
Please let me and Harry know if you plan to have your modules in this show by
the end of next week, December 4th. The sooner we get our information in the
better chance we have of getting the size layout we want. This will be the
first public show we have a chance to be in since last February so please
respond by next week. Only sign up if you will actually be able to attend. I
will be sending in our reservation request on the 5th of December.
