Hello Harry,
The people there were great, I did not run trains,I sat down and visited with
the members and dog sat (LOL), but my dad did for a little while, he went down
to the N scale layout as well, Had nice time visiting the members of our club
and their club.
Thanks Jake for bringing sandwiches for all of us to use for lunch, they we
good.
We got there on Friday night and stayed at the hotel below which is only a few
street away from the building they are in. Very clean hotel. we left on Sunday
morning to come home.Best Western plus Hill House 700 Truxtun Ave,
Bakersfield, CA 93301.
was hoping to visit the hobby shop by them, but they are still not allowing
people in the store so we had to skip that
Had fun going to dinner with Arnt and Kay and visiting with them. They are
great people and look forward to seeing them at the convention in September.
