The organization needs a good mission statement but let’s do a mission
statement right and not fool ourselves. A mission statement can be defined as

A mission is not simply a description of an organization by an external party,
but an expression, made by its leaders, of their desires and intent for the
organization. The purpose of a mission statement is to communicate the

other stakeholders. A mission statement also creates a sense of identity for
its employees. Organizations normally do not change their mission statements

Dear members - I am sending you the attached word document "EBoard Mission
Statement" on behalf of the EBoard officers. If possible, read this document
prior to the Business Meeting tonight (which is a Zoom meeting). This statement
is intended to guide our way out of the Pandemic shutdown, and provide clarity
and direction on a few key issues. If you have trouble opening this word
