Suggest leaving OC about 7am to arrive by 10am.

Our host is "OCMR's visiting member" Milt Sansoucie
who will show us around GEHAMS.

and avail yourselves of MIlt's photos and videos.
Milt was one of OCMR's better "equipment" modelers.
He will likely display some of his UP specific trains,
many of them custom made from his own castings.
(I will bring one or two of my "calcium chloride" cars
for which Milt supplied the cast chloride containers.)
Remember the OCMR track cleaners,
Milt produced those as well.
Quite a guy, and a great loss to OCMR,
I'm looking forward to seeing him again.
The attached matrix shows that
some are D-drivers, and some are P-passengers.
There may be others of you wanting to go.

If so, please email me ASAP.
From the matrix you will observe that
some drivers are designated.
These are Annette/Mel, Carl, Mike Allee.
These vehicles are "full" or will self drive.
Rogan: if you want to go, check with Carl
or plan as below.
At this time, I need to inform our host, Milt,
about how many to expect.
We also need to plan our logistics
as to who will drive and who will ride passenger.
According to the matrix, we have
4 passengers looking for drivers.
These are Harry, Brian A, Jim Fuhrnan,
and Greg Birkmann (perhaps Rogan).
If there are other OCMR members wanting to go,
now is the time to identify.
Suggest car pooling from either SBVE parking lot
or the club locker.
If I drive, I can take 1 or 2 others.
(Given UBER pricing, I'll afford a brass engine or two.)
Members, please let me know if more of you want to trek to Bakersfield.

Unfortunately, she opted out of a dinner and the hi-life of
Bakersfield.
(Apparently, Don is not much of a salesman,
but probably a better husband.
Don will be missed, but Ellen better satisfied.)
