I really enjoy these news letters. Van and Susie put some interesting thoughts.
I remember 1939 like it was yesterday. Only because it was the year I was born.
I'm afraid my modeling has taken a back seat to me doing a comprehensive
inventory of all my rolling stock. I have not made it thru my freight cars yet.
They are in more boxes than I remember. The passenger cars are next then the
locomotives. 50 years of accumulating stuff some I didn't know I had. My Son
wants this with possible values in the event I perish on a long walk or bike
ride with my 4.5 year old Grandson. So far so good we go out and cover 3 to 4
miles maybe four or five times a week. I have two vehicles I don't remember the
last time I put fuel in them. All my structures are in boxes packed with
popcorn and several more kits in a variety of yet to be found cartons. So I'm
enjoying doing nothing I feel I've earned it
over these years. I certainly hope everyone is healthy and in good spirits
when this is over we will be over whelmed with things to do again. Take care of
yourselves.
