Hi Over on the Forum, LWHistorian has tried an 'outside the box' approach to finding Ms Laycock's contact details. An author she collaborated with quite a lot some years ago is Juliet Bawden. We may have discovered Ms Bawden's fax number (she only wants to be contacted by fax, apparently). Jon, do you think we should try following up this line of enquiry? I'm afraid being faxless myself, I cannot help. This is of course in addition to the contact details for the two Jane Laycocks he found. I have also found the UK Children's Books Website, which has an illustrator directory here: http://www.ukchildrensbooks.co.uk/ills.html Should I try E-mailing them regarding Mr Hooks and Ms Laycock (neither of whom appear on the list)? I know this is all getting a bit bureaucratic, but organisation is definitely something we need, particularly to avoid unnecessarily repeating leads already tried and exhausted. -- Simon Osborne
