I think so. After all, FW is supposed to be a "modern" setting, unlike the
pseudo-medieval LW and GS. :-)
And if we receive any reports of people having trouble with the PNGs, we
should be able to quickly revert to GIFs (or JPEGs when applicable) and
republish.
