Subject: Scanning the White Warlord

I recently found a copy of the white warlord and the scarlet sorcerer in a used
bookstore here in the U.S.
Were there different version made for over here or are they the same as the UK
versions.
If they are the same then I would be happy to start scanning in the white
warlord as it is already well loved.

Hi there

Thanks for the offer of help, it's greatly appreciated. Actually, you've offered at a good time; I have also received an offer to scan in White Warlord from another volunteer, so if you can also help out, that will halve the work for both of you. The US and UK editions of the Combat Heroes books are identical, save for the cover, which isn't a problem.

The current state of the book is listed here:

I have split the book into smaller, more manageable sections for ease of coordination. If you would like to start at the end of the book, scanning in the numbered text sections first, the other volunteer will be starting at the front of the book, so you shouldn't replicate any work. If you send me your full name, I can add it to the relevant section.

If you have any OCR software and would like to change the scans of the numbered sections back into editable text, that would help, but don't worry if you don't; I can sort that out at this end. I request scans to preferably be in greyscale JPEG format, at a resolution of 200dpi. And it's probably best to send any mail with attachments to my gmail address: outspacedOS@xxxxxxxxx

Once again, thank you for your offer of help. White Warlord has been waiting to be scanned for many months, and it will be nice to get it off the list of things to do.

For Sommerlund and the Kai!

Kind regards,
