The official answer is that you don't modify your stats. The stats you have at
the end of the Magnakai (including the bonus you get from completing your final
Lore Circle) are the stats you have as a Grand Master. You do get to keep and
use all the applicable bonuses from your Magnakai skills in the GM series (so
you effectively have +4 CS with all Weapons and weaponlike Special Items (with
a +5 for bows/thrown weapons due to Mentora status), +3/+6 CS when using
Kai-surge (unless you fight something that's immune to it) and probably most
importantly, you keep your +1 EP for every section without close combat Curing
effect. You also get to keep that +20 RP every 100 days, which means you can
use it once every couple of books. You also get all the various bonuses from
any equipment or Special Items that you have.
A less official but still sort of okay interpretation is that you redo your CS
and EP numbers at the beginning of the GM series using the 25+RNT for CS and
30+RNT for EP. However, if you do that, you don't get to use any bonuses from
Lore Circles or Magnakai skills except for the +1 EP/section Curing effect. If
you want +5 for Bow shots, you have to take Grand Weaponmastery. Want to
attack enemies with your mind? You have to take Kai-surge. Skipping Meals
requires Grand Huntmastery. Using this method will overall raise your CS
(especially when you factor in Special Items), though it will potentially
reduce your starting EP.

Hello Project Aon.
When making the transition from the Magnakai books to the Grand Master series
how are we to modify our stats? Do we add on our Magnakai bonuses to the
extra 25+RN score as well as our equipment bonuses. The magnakai bonuses
would perhaps make the grand master series too easy. Or so I thought.
