Sorry for the EXTREMELY late reply, but this email got lost in the shuffle
somehow and I just now read it...
If you are asking permission to use the JavaScript action chart and combat
system that I wrote for the lone wolf books Then yes feel free to modify the
JavaScript and use it however you wish., But you must make sure that I am
given proper credit for the original code.
If you are asking to use some aspect of the actual books written by Joe
Dever then I cannot say give you an answer. Joe owns the copyright to all of
that material and you would have to ask him personally about specifically
what you want to use and the decision would be up to him...
I can even send you a copy of my original HTML, CSS, and JS files for you to
work with. But that's all that I have permission to give you.

In this age of 'digital publication' such as the internet, legalities are
exposure than in previous times. I am writing an amature game book on mynot
computer. I would love to use the system used within the lone wolf game
books. Simply put I am asking for permission to use it in my game book. If
then thats okay. I love your game books. There well written and verry
balanced between the 'game' aspect and storytelling. I would love to see
them remade in a freeform much like the old 'Fabled Lands' gamebooks.
