I have renewed our web site hosting for 3 months for $45 - receipt
attached. I pushed this to the last minute but have done some research.
Our provider, Blue Host, has done us well for 3 years for the intro $99
offer but is no longer giving non-profits such favorable terms on renewals
(although if we signed up a new account we still could get a great deal).
The cost for 3 to 12 month terms is $15 per month - which is the same as we
paid for our former web host about 10 years ago.
If we signed up for 3 more years that would drop to $11/month or about
$400. We could afford this.
Or we could migrate to a hosting provider that is giving non-profit
discounts (which means Nick and I or others will have some work to do).
There are a couple out there which offer WordPress hosting for less money
but we would have the labor to migrate.
We have 3 months to figure this out. I suspect Nick and I will work
something out for less than they are asking. See you Friday and Sunday.
