fråga, eftersom merparten säkert är det (vetenskapsjournalistik i dags- och
kvällstidningar samt populärmedia är den minst kritiskt granskande
journalistiken av all journalistik, när den inte själv ljuger och
nonsensöverdriver för att skapa rubriker).
AI-tekniken har inte genomgått något paradigmskifte på senare år, utan bygger
på samma gamla datorteknik som tidigare, bara på en mer avancerad nivå.
Fortfarande vet ingen vad medvetande och känsloupplevelser, kreativitet, omdöme
och pur intelligens (till skillnad från strikt logiska operationer) är och hur
det uppkommer, än mindre hur man skapar det artificiellt. Denna AI-"boom" som
pågår just nu är bara en modefluga, förmodligen uppblåst av AI-forskarnas
PR-konsulter för att fixa snabba bidragscash. Det är symtomatiskt att denna
"boom" tog vid direkt efter att AI-forskningen gick igenom en intellektuell och
PR-mässig kris för några år sedan, då hela fältet kritiserades också av ledande
AI-forskare själva för att vara en återvändsgränd:

novel and cleared the first screening test of Japanese literary prize- Nikkei
Hoshi Shinichi Literary Award. But the novel couldn't win the award..

Researchers have presented the robot named AI to the international conference
on learning representation and they showed that how 11 thousand unpublished
books were taught to the robot using neural networks and how it was able to
reproduce a few sentences like those on its own.
Scientists gave a sentence to the robot and asked him to reproduce sentences
with same meaning and they also put a condition that these sentences should
rhyme with each other. During these test the robot produced many poems and
most of these poems were written in a really sad manner.

that IBM Watson has even gotten into it, but the incursions into artistic

Narrative Science, a company that turns machine-readable datasets (such as
overnight movements in commodity supplies or employee performance statistics)
