I don’t care how the suits feel, but this is the last thing the NFL wanted to
see, especially if someone like the likely Coach of the Year and (potentially)
Baker Mayfield are out. And I really hope something like this doesn’t really
galvanize the Browns, as while we might see this as a significant competitive
advantage, and it likely really is, sometimes these things go the opposite you
think they’ll go.
For the record, I don’t want to revel in the Browns’ misfortune here as I’d
rather see our guys beat them down at full strength, but let’s get a PLAYOFF
WIN!

Which makes the decision to leave the resting veterans back in Pittsburgh look
all the more brilliant.

I must admit, I did cringe when they were all shaking hands without masks at
the end of the game on Sunday…. let’s see what develops in the next couple of
days….

It is uncanny how many of these outbreaks are occurring around the Steelers,
yet the Steelers have had no such outbreaks. It's starting to really tick me
off because of the increased risks our guys are incurring as a result of all
these other teams being around the virus and then playing us.
That said, I have to hope Mayfield is one of the two players who tested
positive (strictly from a competitive standpoint - I actually like him as a
person and player).

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, two additional members of the
coaching staff and two players have tested positive for COVID-19 and will not
be available for Sunday night's AFC wild card game against the Pittsburgh
Steelers.
In making the announcement Tuesday, the Browns said special teams coordinator
Mike Priefer will serve as the acting head coach.
The Browns have closed their facility on Tuesday while contact tracing is
taking place, and the team said it would consult with the league and medical
experts about the next steps.
"The health and safety of our players, coaches, staff and the entire community
remains our highest priority," the team said in a statement.
