Question will be does Ben feel like he can do as he pleases with Canada like he
did with Randy F? Does he believe the Oline will improve, or the run game?
Is he realistically concerned, like I am, that our strength of schedule will
greatly increase next year? Does he fear coming back and it being worse?
Lot's of what ifs and what could bes that are likely being discussed at Heinze
and at the Roethlisberger household
Only time will tell

Subject: [steelers_pb] Ben's chance of retiring
If someone like Matt Canada becomes OC, he wouldn't necessarily be learning a
new system, would he? You could just not use the short passing game so much.
It seemed like the rest of the offense was pretty good with Ben calling the
plays. Ben has already said he wants to come back another year. I know things
change, but certainly he didn't mean another year like this one. He had to
realize some time ago that something had to change.

It will be very interesting to see how Ben reacts to this. Is he gonna come
back and learn a new system at age 39?
I think he's leaning closer to retirement now than he was yesterday. Not saying
he will, and I hope he doesn't, but this is significant.
