It's always better to be in the playoffs, IMO. Especially with a rookie QB,
experiencing meaningful December/January games would accelerate his learning
curve.

Is it better to get to the playoffs and get killed like last year or blow 3-4
winnable games and not make the playoffs. Take away eh mild benefit of a
slightly better draft pick it will be worse for me to know we should be in, all
while knowing we aren’t that good right now.
