my problem with Pickens usage is that lack of creativity. it’s almost always
send him up the sideline. By all “realistic ” accounts George was not
necessarily open a ton and ignored. The game plan was to pound the rock and
they did. They used tight ends and big sets so he wasnt out there a lot running
wide open with his hand in the air, they just simply didn’t call his number a
lot. It happens. Happened to DJ a couple weeks ago. His time will come but they
need to get him catches in a variety of locations, get him blocking and use him
as a decoy. I was disappointed the few times I watched run plays and he came
off the line fully telegraphing that he was out of the play.
He is young and frustrated. Tomlin said he wants that fire , and I agree but
know your place rook. His time will come he has to be patient, as we all do.

On a personal note, I'm very NOT okay with Johnson. I don't like the
inconsistency. Yes, he's better than years past but I just don't 'feel' good
with him as the #1.
