he will play for 10 more years but yea he is now a career veteran backup. who
knows, maybe he can be Geno Smith one day 😂

Agree with all of this, and would only add that I think we saw Mitch’s career
die today. He’ll get cut in the offseason and at best Chase Daniels it from
here.

Almost no faith in this team rattling off 4 straight to have a winning season.
That means Tomlin will have his first losing season and we will assuredly be
out of the playoffs.
Losing and missing the playoffs does not make me happy, BUT now we can stop the
nonsense talk about both topics and focus on improving this team.
Mitch gave us one drive then made us all realize that playing Kenny is the
right choice. That said, there has to be cause for concern with KP missing
parts of 2 games due to being in concussion protocol.
The game plan to start was horrific. I am all for running the ball, but the
incessant run, run, pass system kills me. The Ravens have a great run D and I
understand that we need to establish the run.
You also need to get your rookie QB in a rhythm and no put him into non stop
3rd down pass plays with an OL that does not thrive in pass pro, especially
when the other team knows the pass is coming.
The secondary has made it clear that they are jealous all the OL draft talk and
they want to be a priority. Not to be outdone, the front seven decided stopping
the run was optional. DL and ILB are doing all they
can to be put into the draft conversation. We sadly aren't 3 early picks away
from being a super bowl contender.
All the above stated I am still optimistic about the next few years. Pickens is
still raw, but a stud. KP8 will continue to grow. Austin can hopefully add some
spice next year and Najee ( NOT today) showed that he can
still be a quality NFL RB. Warren is a legit backup. Pat is an underutilized
stud. I really liked Anthony Miller in the slot. If they can bring him back I
think the WR room will still be solid. The OL is growing together, but
I don't see all 5 starting Day 1 next year.
The high priced defense has some studs, but overall has under performed.
Highsmith is entering a contract year and will be really solid for someone else
in 2 years. TJ will eventually be healthy.
We NEED a CB ASAP. I was all about LT, but can not argue Porter/Ringo.. in Rd 1.
The playoff pressure is off. Focus on improvement. Hopefully enjoy the last 4
games of Canada's tenure.
