I was thinking recently about something that I think would be
interesting.
There is a website I use that allows locations to be mapped, with
minimum info or with as much as you want.
For instance, I have mapped the church locations for what is my
district/chapter/we call it presbytery.
I thought it would be neat to see how far we are spread apart,
especially as we talk about getting together in August.
The easiest way to do it for our purposes would be for me to
prepare an excel spreadsheet.
I would then load it on the website, and all could see the map.
All the data I would need/use is the following
City
State
Country
Zip code
Whatever "name" or "identifier" you wish to use.
Your email will not be used or even connected to the spreadsheet,
as far as the map or as far as myself.
I could say Scouts honor, but I am held to a higher code and give
my word.
I do not have a any idea how many members we currently have.
I am willing to receive such entries and add them to the spreadsheet.
I could do so until I receive the "full number" or close to it.
Or I could do it for a month or so.
No obligation of course, totally voluntary.
If the Moderator/Moderators [or owner/admin of the list] deems
this inappropriate, I won't be offended.
