Hi all,

Just a quick note to express my thanks to everyone who came along to the
VICS Information and Technology day in Cork last Saturday. It was great
to see so many of you there, and it looked as though an enjoyable day
was had by all.

A big thanks to my colleagues on the committee who played a huge part in
organising the event. Also to Mary OGrady and her staff in UCC who
kindly offered the use of the venue.

To Declan and Ronan for their excelent presentations, and to the
exhibitors, who travelled extremely long distances to be there on the
day. Cheers guys, your participation was much appreciated.

Most of all, can I thank you the VICS members for giving up your time to
come along and give your support to the event, it was really encouraging
to see such a great turnout. Over 20 years on VICS is still alive and
kicking...

Should you have any feedback on the day, posative or negative, we'd love
to hear it. After all VICS wouldn't exist without you the loyal members.

Can I also take this opportunity to remind everyone intending to
purchase assistive technology - be it hardware or software, that the
ATAG scheme is still accepting applications. The scheme provides up to
