Hi Tony,
I'm sorry I can't remember what the solution was, but I had the same thing
back in 2000. I know the year, whichis unusual for me, because it caused
me not to go to the exhibition a girlfriend was putting on in Cork, because,
so as to avoid any embarrassment to us both, I had said to her to send me
the number of the friend whose house she was staying in, if I was welcome to
stay there with her too. Exactly this thing happened you describe. It
didn't read the line with the number in igt. I didn't go and when she took
her courage, or possibly her rage, and the flowers I had sent in my stead,
and came to see me, she seemed to think it was some class of lame excuse.
See even my excuses are disabled. Thank St. Freedom Scientific, when I
rashly said, look i'll show you, it did the same thing, and all was forgiven
and a good time had by all, but sadly we didn't live happily ever after,
well not with each other at any rate!
I seem to remember that it will reaed word by word, or maybe if you go up
and down it reads, there is something like that. I'm sure someone will
make more useful sense of this.

Hi All,
On one of the computers I access, when say when I am writing an email I
discover on reading it back Jaws does not read a number of the lines I have
written, and simply says, blank, blank and so on!
My first thought was that maybe the writing didn't come out at all, but on
checking with someone sighted all I wrote could be read clearly by sight!
I know that it has nothing to do with the Jaws version I am using, but
perhaps the copy!
I don't wish to uninstall and reinstall it unless I really have to.
Any ideas do please get in touch to the list.
