Ronan,

Don't know if this will be a help but a tiny assist perhaps!

I use mobile broadband to go (upgraded recently and I discovered that going in to settings in the control panel and such going to 1.3G the performance of my internet is greatly improved.

Yes I installed and thought that it would be fine but that what I mention above helped I assure you.

Probably not exactly what you are looking for but I throw it out for what it's worth.

Best, Tony Sweeney

Subject: [vicsireland] Accessible broadband speed test

Hi folks,

I would like to test the performance of my wifi and ethernet broadband
connection. I am getting occasional trouble with internet radio. The
stream breaks from time to time some days but on other times is okay.
I am not sure if this is the broadband connection or local wifi
issues.

Has anyone a recommendation on an accessible broadband test website?

I got www.broadbandireland.ie to work okay on Windows 7 with NVDA but
haven't found one that works on the Apple Mac with VoiceOver.

Any suggestions much appreciated!

Regards,
Ronan
