Hi Gerry, Do you know if partially sighted tv viewers feature in the experiment? Just curious! I think audio description can sometimes be very useful, in scenes shot in semi-darkness, or fast action, for example. She went all the way to Barcelona for a conference on research on access to TV and that is where I met her. I was in Barcelona for another conference and dropped into that one for half a day. Take care, Gerry Ellis If you don’t know where you’re going, How will you know when you get there? -----Original Message----- From: vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dónal Fitzpatrick Sent: 10 April 2014 22:35 To: vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [vicsireland] Re: Audio Description testers sought Hi Gerry, Thanks for passing this one on. I'd heard about someone looking at this, but the person who mentioned it didn't know the name and a Google didn't reveal anything. Looks interesting work.
