Eamon! I believe you heard correctly about the BBC Player becoming more
accessible but apparently, on a pay as you go basis...nothing wrong with paying
once the service is VFM

  Hi folks,

I think I heard somewhere that the Beeb hope to have an international
version of their iPlayer sometime this year. This should allow viewing of
BBC TV stations from outside the UK.

Happy New Year to all on the list

  Regards,

  Eamonn

Hi, the iplayer for tv is generally not available outside UK but I did see
some free links in the past that would permit TV viewing, will look for
  that again..
However, if it is radio like bbc 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and all the national
services in the uk then try webbie
It is a british group I think from a university who have developed and
still developing the service for visually impaired so as to get access to
all BBC radio content, i use it all the time.
If it is TV then you may have to look around, it is there some where on the
  web.

  Bob.
