Since the only point of my last email was to help you check that Windows
Search is running, I apologise for the complicated procedure I dumped on
you!
Since you are running Windows 10, I thought you might find it useful to make
sure that Windows Search is running as this is necessary for Outlook 2010.
Here is the procedure which I used to find it:
1. Hit Start, and type "services,"
2. When the services window opens, press tab once to the list of services
3. Arrow down the list to find "Windows Search" ( it is quite a long way
down so press "w" to get close to it!);
You will see then if it is enabled or not.
Here is what my entry looks like:
Windows Search; Description: Provides content indexing, property caching,
and search results for files, e-mail, and other content.; Status : Running;
Startup Type: Automatic (Delayed Start); Log On As: Local
System--------------------------------------------------------------
As it is on by default in Windows 10 I expect you will find that it is
actually running after all.
This throws you back to your original question, why f3 is not working
properly for you, doesn't it?

Cearbhal, I checked what you said but I couldn't find anything like a search
feature. To be quite honest it was all gobbledy goo so being cautious I
decided to do nothing. I am using windows 10, Outlook 2010 and JAWS 18. I
thought there might be something in JAWS for searching. It is very
frustrating!
