Maureen,
I am using F3 in Outlook 2016 for this so I would imagine it should still
work in Outlook 2010. What version of Windows are you running? I found these
notes on the web that might be worth checking out:
"Before Instant Search can be enabled in Microsoft Outlook 2010, Windows
Search 4.0 or later must be installed on your computer. If Windows Search
4.0 is not installed, you are prompted to download the software when Outlook
2010 starts.
Windows 7 Windows Search 4.0 is on by default. If you cannot use Instant
Search, it might be that Windows Search is turned off. In Control Panel,
click Programs, and then under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows
features on or off. Select the Windows Search check box.
Windows Vista or earlier Instant Search is enabled automatically on
computers running Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2). If your computer runs
a Windows version earlier than Vista SP2, you must download Windows Search
4.0 "#

Hi there can anyone tell me the key stroke for continuous search in Outlook
2010 please. For instance heretofore in a list of items giving useful
information all I had to do was F3 to find what I was looking for and if it
wasn't the first item I pressed F3 again but this does not seem to happen in
Outlook 2010 All help welcome for which I thank you in advance.
