Hello vics members,

Although this has nothing to do with computers nor with me I hasten to add,
I would strongly recommend that everyone get to Eleanor Swan's exhibition on
June 7th if you can. I worked with Eleanor over the past year in NCAD as
she developed these pieces. It is an ambitious attempt to convey the art of
Francis Bacon in a tactile form. The pieces are large and easy to handle. It
would be very interesting to see what you get out of the experience.

I saw his paintings when I had my sight in the 70's and it was very
attractive visually. Eleanor's pieces are fascinating as pieces of sculpture
and modelling. She gives the paintings a third dimension that is her
interpretation of the visual form.

All the best,

Cearbhall
