Hi, I wrote a couple of weeks ago to say that i am part of a group working with the European Standards body CEN on what is called a "Workshop Agreement" on a curriculum for training ICT professionals in Universal Design. The deadline for making comments has been extended till October 6th. Please see below details on what is involved. As the CEN Template for making comments is not very accessible, Donal Rice of the NDA, who is chairing the Workshop Group, has said that if people want to contact him he will make sure that your comments are passed on. I believe that the outputs from this work will be very influencial, but I am anxious that they are also as comprehensive as possible. Suggestions from people like you on this list can help enormously with both of these aims. Thanks. Take Care, Gerry Ellis If you don't know where you're going, How will you know when you get there? ----- Original Message ----- Subject: Public Consultation of CEA Ud Prof 004 Version 1- Closing Date for Public Consultation 6th October 2009 Dear Experts, As someone who may be interested in this work, I wish to inform you that the first Public Consultation phase for this work is closing on 6 October, 2009.
