Are you signed into Viber all the time and, if so, is that why it is running
in the background?
If you want to stop an app from running, you need to go to the app switcher.
You can do this by pressing the home key twice quickly. When you find the
app that you want to close, double tap and hold and with another finger, tap
once. You can then double tap on other apps that you want to close.
To delete an app, go to the app that you want to delete on the home screen,
then double tap and hold and with another finger, tap the screen. You will
be asked if you want to delete the app and you can confirm by double
tapping.

Hi all,
I have recently installed an app on my iPhone called Viber. I love
this app but I am seriously thinking about not using it anymore as it
is really heavy on the battery as it is running in the background all
the time and I have the push notifications turned on for this app. I
would appreciate it if anyone could let me know how to stop apps from
running in the background as if this option doesn't drain my battery
as much I will keep the app. I would also appreciate it if someone
could let me know how to delete apps from the phone or from itunes.
