Brian, yeah, I saw it and it summerised what train times were past and what the
next train was but maybe it is because I'm using jaws 8, when I went to the
link to download pdf timetable, I was brought into one of those readable
windows with the buttons on the side i.e. zoom in, zoom out download, etc and
these buttons didn't really work well with jaws as when I thought I was on the
download button and pressed the spacebar, the zoom worked. Note each button
was repeated twice so it meant that after failure the first time, I tried the
second mention of the download button and zoom out announced. These pages must
have been upgraded in someway as I had some luck before using them when trying
to read a section of an on lin book belonging to a friend. But nowI'm
frustrated. I must download a copy of N.V.D.A. and try it out on such pages
like Irish rail and the other example I gave. Thanks. Gerry

  Hi Gerry,

I have given up on the Irish Rail Website timetable and now use
www.getthere.ie. I don't use it too often, but when I do I find it works very
well.

Hope this is of some help.

  Brian

Hi D, according to jaws it is a edit box and not a drop down box, but I
also see what you mean as it is like predictive text, as the page informs you
that they will fill in the station name with predictive text as you write.
back to the drawing board. Hope you are keeping well, attended a workshop with
Arlene Hunt on crime writing and as far as I can see it is not what one
actually writes these days but marketing seems to play a bigger part in that
people at the workshop whom didn't write much found that their presence on
facebook was more important. check out Louise Phillips, actually she got an
award at the awards being shown on rte 1 Saturday night. The Girl next to me
told me she had 10,000 followers. was I supposed to be impressed?? You can
see my atitude to facebook. Thanks and regards,
    Gerry

I don't use a screenreader so some people may have more help from a
technical point of view, but I know they ask you to specify a station by
choosing from a list that comes up when you start typing in the station name.
Not the friendliest for the visually impaired. They don't recognise it if you
just type in Thurles.

        Hi Friends,

I wanted to check the train times between Thurles and Limerick. I
"ticked" all the boxes and pressed spacebar on request and go buttons but it
returns me to the fields informing me to fill in the from and to boxes of my
route/journey. Now, I have done this before and had no problems so any ideas?
