HI all

I would like to wish everyone on the list a very happy new year.

There is a new podcast on the VICS website at
www.vicsireland.org

In this podcast, Kerie Doyle guides us through the use of the iPhone4, the
latest generation of the iPhone from Apple. We hear how the handset can be
controlled by a blind person using a series of touch and gesture-based
techniques, and how the built-in voiceover screen reader makes it possible to
use the handset for every day tasks such as sending text messages and browsing
the web.

thanks Kerie for taking the time to put this podcast together. It is well
worth a listen for anyone who is using or is thinking of purchasing an IPhone.

Joan Ann
Chairperson.
