Hi David
I think you want to use the jaws cursor as opposed to the normal pc cursor.
Activate the jaws cursor by hitting the minus key on the numpad if using
the desk top keyboard settings.
You can route the jaws cursor to the current pc cursor location by using
jawskey + numpad minus.
You can then navigate around the screen using normal keyboard arrow keys.
Of course, what Jaws sees there really depends on the application in use.

Hi,
Is there an option in Jaws to make it read what is under the mouse cursor?
I can do this in NVDA.
There's an application at work that doesn't work at all with keyboard
navigation, but does read what's under the mouse, making it usable with
NVDA. However other tasks I do work better with Jaws, so it would be a lot
easier if I could just use Jaws for everything.
