I tried all these settings but had no success.
I did manage to solve my MS Outlook problem by uninstalling Office 2007 and
re-installing it and deleting my profile and starting from the beginning of
setup again.

Hi,
Try hitting Insert with V then toggle the status of "Message Header Field
with Message Announcement" and "Message Automatically Read"settings on or
off to your preference. Isthis what you had in mind?
