Hi mi melanie,

Eloquence - the synth that JAWS uses - is not officially supported by NVDA. (I.e., they don't have a licence for it.)

If I can find it, I'll send you off list a work-round (or tell you more).

Flor.

Subject: [vicsireland] NVDA Question

Hi all.

I hope that I can find help here.

I am using NVDA on my computer with German. I am using the same voice as we get in JAWS, I can't remember wha it is called. However, last week, NVDA suddenly decided not to open any more and, when it finally opened, there was a dialogue box saying that I couldn't use this voice any longer and now I am working with this horrible NVDA voice. Can somebody please tell me how I can get back to the other voice?
Kind regards,

Melanie.
