Hi Kerry and a Happy New Year.

I am a fan of Apple, and am also writing this on a Mac! However, my only problem with the mac book air is the price!

In these recessionary times I am looking for a low budget solution. I am interested in NVDA as a screen reader on the windows family and having tried it for a few weeks on a desktop, I am fairly hopeful that it could be part of a low cost netbook solution.

Hope this makes my query a bit clearer.

Thanks,

Ronan

Hi Ronan.

I've had a del netbook before, and my boyfriend still has one now, and he finds no issue with it, it works fine with jaws also. I've seen Samsung netbooks two which i thought were pretty good, and you just can't go wrong with toshiba, they are as i'm sure you know, a great name. Now if you wanted to veer towards the wonderful world of apple for your netbook needs, you could purchase the macbook air, which as you know, because you already have a mac, has voice over. If you want me to give you any information on macbook air, let me know, as i'm using one typing this email, i love my macbook air, and wouldn't be without it.

Really hope this helps, and a happy new year to you.
