Hi Tony,
As you say, fully paid-up members of VICS are admitted free to the event in
Cork. For those who haven't renewed yet, there will be an opportunity to do
so on the day, and as always, New members are most welcome.
Obviously since VICS is a voluntary organisation, and we rely primarily on
your subscriptions, we would hope that members of the VIP community who do
attend and who benefit (or who would like to) from some of the VICS services
(email, podcasts etc) would join the society. For those with a passing
interest in the area, or who are merely accompanying friends to the event,
there will be no charge.
In short, there won't be a charge on the door, but we would kindly ask that
anyone who hasn't yet renewed there VICS membership do so, and that anyone
intending to join sign-up on the day.
Membership fees are €10 for waged, and €5 for non-waged and students.
I hope this clears things up.
