anyway i have restarted my laptop and the issue is resolved.
thanks to flor and ciaran too.
will keep an eye on this one though as it only occurred today in the access application and i am hoping it is not a jaws conflict issue.

I'm not pulling your leg.  It happened to a colleague of mine across the
corridoor.   When the IT people from our department checked, that's what
they discovered.

sufficet to say i had my breakfast roll for lunch about 41 feet away from
the computer!
but i will give the ol laptop a shakedown anyway....should i read it its

I know that this sounnds a bit funny, but, sometimes if you are eating
close to the keyboard, crumbs can become lodged among the keys.  It can
cause all sorts of problems, Just check.

hi folks
when i press the letter j or the letterw jaws is not saying that letter,
instead it says grav .
any ideas?
