I've had similar problems with spam when I started using mail2web as well.

In the good old days of webmail, when it was a bit of a new innovation, a
really good service called 'Mailstart' did a similar thing but with a better
user interface.

It then went on to be called Web box and became a subscription-based
service.

Hi, It doesn't work and I don't think it would either as you have to pay for
it and I am with BT now for both phone and braudband.  I have just had my
address for years and wouldn't like to change it.

Has your Eircom antispam option not made a difference?
