hi ciaran,
i must say i enjoyed my day in carlow.  it was my first time to attend the 
training days but i hope to attend again.
grateful thanks to all the trainers and it was nice to meet people i hadn't met 
since i lefft dublin.
i know you won't mind if i particularly mention deirbhle who was exceptionally 
helpful to us all.

  A quick note to thank everyone who came along to the VICS training event in 
Carlow on Saturday. The day was a great success, with one of the highest 
turnouts in terms of trainees we've ever had.

  A broad set of topics were covered, including for the first time those 
relating to low-vision users. A special word of thanks to Derbhile Dromey for 
making this happen.  

  Having the Seven Oaks Hotel as the venue worked perfectly, well done to Nicky 
Kealy for organising this.

  Also thanks to all the trainers who gave their time on the day; Darragh, 
Emma, Louise, Declan and Esmond.

  It was a pleasure to bring a training event to the people of the south-east.

  If anyone has any feedback, be it positive or negative, we'd be delighted to 
receive it. Please feel free to pass it on to myself, or to any of the 
individuals mentioned above.

  Looking forward to the next one already...
