As you know, we here at NCBI have been in close contact with Vodafone
regarding the issuing of older versions of the Talks software on their
new
handsets, specifically, the Nokias 6680 and N70.
Vodafone have today confirmed for me that any speaking phones sold from
now
on will have the latest version of talks installed.
They sincerely regret any inconvenience experienced to their customers
and
are very happy to upgrade those customers who have the older talks
version
to the new version at no extra cost.
If you did purchase a Vodafone Speaking phone with the older talks
version
installed and would like to take advantage of their offer, then please
contact me directly so that I can pass your contact details to
Vodafone's
head office.
